Start with Hello Week is the week of 9/22! During the week of September 22, we will share the positive message of Start with Hello week with our students via morning announcements. The purpose of Start with Hello week is to help build connections among students, to counteract loneliness and isolationism. With a focus on positive actions students and staff can do, we hope to build upon our culture of inclusiveness.

McDowell PTO Walkathon Fundraiser: Family and friends: sponsor your student as they visit various movement and and problem-solving stations with their class! This is the only fundraising event sponsored by McDowell PTO. Please view the Walkathon flyer for more information.

Hudson Community First invites parents and guardians to attend PARENTING IN THE DIGITAL WORLD presented by author Dr. Devorah Heitner. Wednesday, October 15 @ 7:00 pm in the Hudson Middle School Auditorium.
- Mentor your child as they grow up with apps like Roblox, Instagram, TikTok, and Discord
- Understand how mentoring over monitoring with screens actually works
- Help your child navigate a world where they can be exposed to problematic content
- Encourage your child to be thoughtful about their digital footprint and reputation
- Work on sleep habits to get enough rest
- Find the balance between plugged and unplugged activities
- Teach your child strategies to recognize how social media affects their mood and mental health and when to take a break
- Support your child in staying true to themselves as they grow up “in public” on social media apps

Preschool and Kindergarten Tuition Payment Schedule:
All Day Kindergarten Tuition:
For those students in All Day Kindergarten, please review the tuition schedule:
● Full year payment of $3,400.00 due August 4, 2025(via PaySchools Central or via check)
● Two payments of $1,700.00 each due August 4, 2025 and January 15, 2026
● Four payments:
- $850.00 due August 4, 2025 (via PaySchools Central or via check)
- $850.00 due September 15, 2025 (via PaySchools Central or via check)
- $850.00 due November 15, 2025 (via PaySchools Central or via check)
- $850.00 due January 15, 2026 (via PaySchools Central or via check)
Preschool Tuition:
Students enrolled as peers are required to pay tuition which is $1500 for the year.
- $500 due August 22, 2025 (via PaySchools Central or via check)
- $500 due November 14, 2025 (via PaySchools Central or via check)
- $500 due February 20, 2026 (via PaySchools Central or via check)
