This is an evening without homework and limited activities to allow students and families to spend some quality time together! McDowell Fall Parties and Parade: This year's Preschool and Kindergarten Halloween Parade is on October 30 at 10:30 a.m. (AM Preschool and Kindergarten) and 1:30 p.m. (PM Preschool and Kindergarten and Full-Day Kindergarten). NOTE: if there is inclement weather on the parade date, the parade will be canceled, and there will be no make-up date. All parents are invited to watch the outdoor parade. If you are only staying for the parade, there is no need to enter the building. Students will be following the sidewalk loop outside of Door D in the preschool wing and along the bus lot. Please keep the sidewalks clear for the parade. Only those parents who are volunteering at the party may enter the building after the parade. Yearbook Cover Contest: Do you want to see your artwork on the cover of this year’s McDowell Yearbook? Please see the Yearbook Cover Contest flyer for information in submitting a contest entry.
Class Fees: Class fees have been loaded onto student accounts. You can pay these using Payschools Central. Please continue to follow the schedule below for Preschool and Kindergarten Tuition fees.
Hudson Community First Holiday Shoppe & Craft Fair: The Hudson Community First - Annual Holiday Shoppe & Craft Fair will be held on Saturday, December 6, from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at East Woods Intermediate. Children (preschool - Age 12) will secretly shop with a Middle School Elf who helps them stay on budget and ensures every person on their pre-written list gets a special gift. Items range in cost from $3-$15. Credit Cards, cash, and checks are accepted. The shoppe is stocked with a delightful variety of gifts perfect for everyone on their list. In addition, HCF, invites the entire community to shop at the Craft Fair featuring 25 vendors selling a variety of unique items, including handmade holiday crafts, spirit wear, delicious treats, and so much more. We hope to see you there!
Yearbook Orders: The link to order yearbooks is now open. Please view the Yearbook flyer for more information and to purchase your 2025-26 McDowell yearbook. Orders must by in by February 14, 2026.

Preschool and Kindergarten Tuition Payment Schedule:
All Day Kindergarten Tuition:
For those students in All Day Kindergarten, please review the tuition schedule:
● Full year payment of $3,400.00 due August 4, 2025(via PaySchools Central or via check)
● Two payments of $1,700.00 each due August 4, 2025 and January 15, 2026
● Four payments:
- $850.00 due August 4, 2025 (via PaySchools Central or via check)
- $850.00 due September 15, 2025 (via PaySchools Central or via check)
- $850.00 due November 15, 2025 (via PaySchools Central or via check)
- $850.00 due January 15, 2026 (via PaySchools Central or via check)
Preschool Tuition:
Students enrolled as peers are required to pay tuition which is $1500 for the year.
- $500 due August 22, 2025 (via PaySchools Central or via check)
- $500 due November 14, 2025 (via PaySchools Central or via check)
- $500 due February 20, 2026 (via PaySchools Central or via check)
